We had not booked reservations but were offered a seat at the bar and immediate felt welcomed by the chefs/waiter (the two serve double duty). We had the Argentinian steak and chicken both charcoal grilled and perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. Both were excellent and served with chips and salad. Would highly recommend for a delicious dinner during your stay in Nerja.

Loved everything about this place, limited menu focusing on coal fired cooking. The owner Jorge is a master at his craft and seeing him in action is great to watch. He runs at 100 miles an hour with a smile on his face. The food is a standout. A breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to come back again

We read great reviews for this place and decided to give it a go on our last night, we arrived about 7:30 and they were fully booked! However we were offered a seat at the bar which was actually fantastic - could see the meats being cooked. Service was amazing with a great sense of humour! We had the pork and steak and shared between two which was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was great, three other pairs sat at the bar who also didn’t have reservations and the rest of the place packed out! Book if you can, but a seat at the bar is just as good :)

Entrecôte cooked to perfection (rare) chicken was moist and flavours. Patas fritas were surprisingly outstanding!

Can't praise the establishment enough. Did not have a reservation, however the gentleman had fantastic customer service skills with a splash of humor and accommodated us at the bar, which gives you a bird eye view of the food been cooked. He did try to accommodate us at a table that was booked and initially appeared to be a no-show but they eventually arrived moments after offering the table; handled the situation with grace and warmth. The food was fantastic, full of flavor and taste. Reasonably priced. Atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. Can not recommend enough. Oh and was nicely chilled by the air conditioning

Just ate here - comfortably the best meal I’ve ever had in Nerja, and one of the best steaks I’ve ever had ever. Small menu, perfectly done, friendly intimate service. Highly recommended.

You know the food is good when the menu is this simple. Only pork, beef, or chicken to choose from, and that’s all you need. Everything comes with a great charcoal grilled flavor, and the owner is super friendly. Sometimes less really is more!

We were out between Xmas and New year and my son had read the reviews about this place and insisted we go, however we never managed to get to visit. Me and my wife were back out in June again and managed to book up (you need to book in advance after 7pm and it is closed at the weekend) - We were not disappointed, possibly the best meal we have ever had? The Starter was the prawn pil pil which was served with superb bread and was simply outstanding. For our main we both had the entrecote - perfectly cooked on the fire in front of us and the best steak we have ever had. We had the Sangria for our drinks and it was also top quality. The place is very traditional with photo's of Rock Music's greats hanging on the walls. The service was excellent and nothing was a problem. A fabulous experience which on any return visit to Nerja we will prioritize as a must do. Go for it.
